FRIENDSHIP STREET VIETNAM – KOREA FESTIVAL 2022
In order to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992-December 22, 2022), on December 10-11, 2022, many intriguing activities as parts of Friendship Street Vietnam – Korea Festival 2022 were hosted at Tran Van Lai Street, My Dinh Urban Area, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
Samulnori – The unique Korean art of drummingPresident of the Korean Association in Hanoi, Chang Eun Sook, stated that the “Friendship Street Vietnam – Korea Festival” will be hosted annually and turned into a tourist destination for Korean and Vietnamese tourists, especially young people. This significant event provides a chance for citizens from both countries to share cultures and build friendships via a variety of activities.
The music night featured Byun Jin Sub – one of the top Ballad vocalists appreciated by many Koreans for his songs “Being Alone”, “It’s Too Late”, “Like Birds”, and “All I Can Give You Is Love”.Throughout the two days of the event, visitors had the opportunity to experience a variety of activities imbued with Korean culture at more than 100 booths with diverse themes such as cuisine, beauty, traditional costumes, and commercial items from Vietnam and Korea.
Ms. Pham Hoang Lan – CEO of HoaBinh Events – Event Director of the “Friendship Street Vietnam-Korea Festival 2022,” stated that this event was staged to strengthen the friendship and harmony between the two countries on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Korea. This is the first event held in a new location with the goal of becoming a symbol of the Korean Quarter in Hanoi.
