INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF VIETNAM’S LARGEST SEMICONDUCTOR FACTORY WORTH 1.6 BILLION USD

On October 11, at Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province, Amkor Group successfully held the inauguration ceremony of the Amkor Technology Vietnam Factory. This is also one of the largest semiconductor factories in Vietnam today, with a total investment capital of 1.6 billion USD until 2035 and a total area of about 23 hectares.

Attending the factory inauguration ceremony were members of the Party Central Committee: Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister; and Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee. Mr. Marc Evans Knapper, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam; and Ms. Susan Y.Kim, Vice President of Amkor Technology Group.
