From June 18–21, an international workshop titled “Enhancing the Meaningful Participation of Female Military Personnel in U.N. Peacekeeping Missions” took place in Hanoi — co-hosted by the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, UNDP, and the Canadian Embassy.

The workshop gathered military leaders, diplomats, and peacekeeping experts from Vietnam, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, and the U.S., focusing on sharing practical solutions to strengthen women’s roles in protecting civilians under U.N. mandates.
