Workshop on summary the project of reducing the use of illegal wildlife in Vietnam

On the morning of November 6, 2019, in Hanoi, HoaBinh Group (The parent company of HoaBinh Events)  successfully organized the “Workshop on Summary of the Project of Reducing the Use of Illegal Wildlife in Vietnam.”

This project, which commenced in 2013, is a collaboration between the CITES Management Authority of Vietnam (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs (Ministry of Education and Training), with support from the international organization Humane Society International (HSI).

The project’s objective is to ensure that at least four million primary students learn about the conservation of endangered wildlife species in Vietnam, such as rhinos, elephants, pangolins, tigers, hornbills, and langurs, during the current school year.

Implemented in two phases, the first phase concentrates on reducing the use of rhino horn. In the second phase, the project focuses on training teachers to organize extracurricular activities and develop educational materials on rare animals, in order to foster a love for wildlife among elementary school students.

We invite you to view the images from the workshop, which can be shared through various platforms such as social media, websites, or email newsletters to showcase the success of the workshop and its impact on wildlife conservation.
